Taking inventory of your gear.
Step one, take inventory. I know, I know. This is not the most exciting step but, hey, you’ve gotta know what you have so you can get to the more exciting stuff. take out your camping bins and start unpacking!
Make a list
This is one of the most important steps. You need to know what you have before you shop for more gear. Take everything out of your camping bins, and list according to type. Cooking kit goes under kitchen, Bubbles for the kiddos under fun, etc.
Reorganize
Alrighty. It’s all accounted for and out of the bins. Time to repack and reorganize. Pack everything into your bins according to type. Kitchen gear in the kitchen bin, fun stuff in the fun bin, etc.
Packing Categories
Packing according to category make setting up camp and packing up after so much easier! Looking for your cast iron? Check the kitchen bin. Need that camp shovel? Check the camp setup bin.
